Welcome to Brophy & Leonard, LLC. We are a two-woman law firm located in the heart of the South Shore. We are committed to providing superior legal services while still retaining our compassion and concern. We recognize that the words "attorney" and "lawyer" are often seen as negative words. We'd like to try to change all of that. To us, it all begins with you, the client. We focus on the client first. We listen before we speak. We understand the importance of effective client communication and we want your input. Always.
We believe that we owe a lot of our success to some very simple lessons we've learned in life—that through hard work and determination, most things are possible. The law was not a profession that either of us pursued upon graduating from college. Owing to our former careers in hotel restaurant management, National Park Service, accounting and banking operations, we offer a different perspective than many other firms. We feel that there is an enormous benefit to having had careers outside of the legal field for several years, and that our exposure to other professions has enabled us to best determine what is most important to us as practicing attorneys. Our communities are important to us, social progress is important to us, and as our emerging practice area of environmental law indicates, we are "green" oriented. But enough about us.
